INTERNAL TOOL / AUTOMATED AUDITING

Site Audit Tool

A tool that audits any URL across eleven categories and returns a scored report a business owner can actually read.

The problem

A proper site audit means checking a dozen areas: speed, structure, metadata, links, images, schema, security, mobile behaviour. Done by hand it is slow and inconsistent, and the raw output from audit tools is unreadable for the person who has to act on it.

What we built

A tool that takes a URL and runs the checks in one pass, scoring each category and writing each finding as a plain line: what was checked, what was found, and whether it matters. It renders the page in a real browser first, so sites built with JavaScript are audited properly rather than judged on an empty shell.

Why it earns its place

It makes an audit repeatable. The same checks run the same way every time, which means fixes can be compared against the previous report instead of remembered. It is also how we keep our own pages honest.

THE RESULT

A full audit in minutes, with the findings written in language a business owner can act on rather than a wall of tool output.

Audit report showing category scores for technical SEO, security, mobile optimisation, on-page SEO, E-E-A-T, links, structured data, performance and images
A live report: eleven categories scored, each finding written in plain English.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED

  • Eleven audit categories from Core Web Vitals to E-E-A-T signals
  • Per-category scores with an overall grade
  • Plain-English findings instead of raw tool output
  • Browser-rendered fetching so JavaScript sites are checked properly
  • PDF report export behind a simple email gate

WHERE THIS USUALLY STARTS

One problem, fixed end to end.

Projects like this start the same way. We look at what is actually happening, find the part that costs the most time or loses the most enquiries, and build the smallest version that fixes it. You see it working within two to four weeks.

The route we would use here is Custom software. If your version of this problem looks different, the first conversation is still the same: bring the messy process and we will tell you what is worth fixing first.

YOUR WORK

The next case study could be the process you keep doing by hand.

Bring us the handoff that keeps slipping. We will map it with the people doing the work and tell you what is worth fixing first.
