Home Assistant Dashboard
A wall-mounted control system for lighting, heating, security, cameras and music, built on Home Assistant and run every day in a real home.
What it is
One interface for the whole house. Lighting, heating, security, cameras, music and the car sit on a single screen, designed to be read at a glance and tapped without thinking. It runs on a wall-mounted display and replaced a pile of separate apps, each with its own login.
Why we built it first
Home Assistant is the platform we build on: it talks to the devices, runs the automations and keeps control local rather than in someone else's cloud. The dashboard is the part people actually touch. Running our own first is how we learn what survives a real household: which automations earn their keep, what has to be on the first screen, and how to keep it maintainable when a device changes.
How the pieces fit
Home Assistant handles the devices and the logic. The dashboard is a custom interface that talks to its API, with kiosk mode for the wall display. The automations run on the platform side: lights follow the time of day and who is home, heating follows the schedule, and anything unusual surfaces on the screen rather than in a notification nobody reads.
THE RESULT
One screen for the whole house, and a working reference for every automation and dashboard project we take on.

WHERE THIS USUALLY STARTS
One problem, fixed end to end.
Projects like this start the same way. We look at what is actually happening, find the part that costs the most time or loses the most enquiries, and build the smallest version that fixes it. You see it working within two to four weeks.
The route we would use here is Custom software. If your version of this problem looks different, the first conversation is still the same: bring the messy process and we will tell you what is worth fixing first.

Bring us the handoff that keeps slipping. We will map it with the people doing the work and tell you what is worth fixing first.
